Master’s Message: Since this is the first official newsletter of the year, (I know that several emails were sent out) I want to thank the membership for their vote of confidence in electing me as Master of Ideal Lodge No. 367. I plan on having several open houses, where we can get together with family and friends and maybe create some interest in Masonry. Hope to see you at the meetings. y
REPORT ON THE DECEMBER MEETING!On December 4, 2007 Ideal Lodge met with 9 members and 3 visitors present. Secretary’s Message: Brothers, your 2008 Dues are NOW due. Please remit your dues to IDEAL LODGE # 367, c/o: Armando Perez, 12108 Coles Creek Blvd., Hammond, LA 70403-2024. Please remember to add your optional 2¢ worth a day for an additional $7.30. Please make check in the amount of $52.80. We still have 11 members that have not paid for 2008! I am also glad to report that we now have 41 Members in Ideal Lodge No. 367!! We have one E. A. learning his work and will create another on February 22nd. We should have another Plural Member in a month or so. Brothers we are really growing in Hammond, LA. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LETTER IS SENT BY E-MAIL TO TWENTY (20) LODGE MEMBERS AND ANOTHER 22 MASONS AND THEY WILL NOT GET THE MAILED VERSION. THIS HELPS KEEP THE COST OF THE POSTAGE DOWN AND ALSO PROVIDES THE NEWSLETTER TO THEM, TWO DAYS EARLIER!! IF YOU HAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS, PLEASE PROVIDE IT TO: “skipperez@bellsouth.net”. THANKS!! COMING EVENTS: Friday, February 22, 2008 – Special Called Meeting to confer the Entered Apprentice Degree. We will need help with this degree, so please come out and give a hand. We eat at 6:30 pm and the meeting will start just after dinner.
Tuesday, March 4th – Regular business meeting night! We eat at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday March 18th – HONOR EASTERN STAR NIGHT/OPEN HOUSE!! Short regular business meeting night! We plan to have a guest speaker on this night from the Eastern Star. We eat at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. This would be a GREAT time to bring your wife and daughters to introduce them to the Eastern Star!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008, Invincible Lodge No. 361 will host the 18th Masonic District Lodge at 1801 Clearview Pkwy, Metairie, LA. Refreshments at 6:30 pm and the Meeting @ 7:30 P.M.
